[ THE CHALLENGE ]  Assist the community in ordering its priorities, choosing a preferred site, creating a vision, and building consensus in support of a multi-generational community center.

[ THE RESPONSE ]  Abacus facilitated community workshops, presented at two Town Meetings, and helped build broad support around a vision for the community center as part of the larger school and community campus. The proposed building is integrated into the sloping hillside, providing separate entries and floors for the council on aging and youth programs, connected by a light filled meeting space.
